AUTO-DOWNLOAD PROBLEM
County Records Research has recently made changes to their web page which have caused problems with the "Auto-Download" feature of the CRR-Pro program. Symptom: Files are not downloaded and Status Monitor message is "Page Not Found". If you ar experiencing this difficulty,
Download the patch and SAVE it into the CRR-Pro6.0PLUS program folder. That is all there is to it.
1. Where is the CRR-Pro program folder? If you are not sure where the CRR-Pro Program folder ("CRRPRO6.0PLUS") is located, here is how to find it. From your Windows desktop, right-click on the CRR-Pro Icon and select "Properties" from the drop-down menu. You will see if the CRR-Pro program file is located at "C:\" or at "C:\Program Files\".
2
. Did I do it right? Open the CRR-Pro program and select "Connect" then "AUTO-Download". Locate the text "PENDING DATA FILES" and you should see a small red asterisk (*) to the far right. If so, then the patch is in place and the Auto-Download feature should function normally. If you don't see the red asterisk, see question 3. below.
3. I followed the instructions but don't see the red asterisk on my Auto-Doenload screen.

6.0 PLUS Program Patch: To correct error in selecting labels when using "All EXCEPT Marked" . Presently, when selecting "All EXCEPT Marked", ALL labels will be printed. Download the patch (mail.wfo) into the folder (C:\CRRPRO6.0 PLUS) on your computer.
Users with certain printers may have problems with the lab5160 label selection (Avery 5160 labels). There was one user report that the bottom edge of the street address line was slightly clipped off. If you experience this problem, Download the updated file and copy it into the folder C:\CRRPRO6.0PLUS on your computer (overwrite the existing file).
Known Issues (6.0 Plus)
Deleting Records from Archive File (Browse View) while in EDIT MODE.
It is not possible to delete, print, or mark-for-mail records while in Archive File EDIT MODE (browse view). This is because no properties are highlighted in this mode. The drop down "Edit" menu should have those selections disabled (greyed out) while in EDIT MODE because an attempt to use these selections will cause an error. This will be corrected in the future by disabling those drop down menu selections while in EDIT MODE.
So, how do I delete records while in Edit Mode? One good work-around is to change the sale date to (for example) a year of "00". This way, the record will be deleted as "old data" during the next Purge (and reindex) of the Archive File. You should always Purge and Reindex your archive file after editing records anyway.
